For those who pray

IF YOU ARE one who prays,

— if you kneel before God —

— press forward.

You may be weary. You may get tired.

Days may stretch into weeks and then into years.

But do not give in to your fatigue.

Do not let the darkness take hold of you.

Your prayer is heavenly work.

You share the work with angels and saints.

So let the Light of the Lord shine brilliantly.

Let your prayer be an ongoing, never ending song.

Let it rise up to him, a sweet aroma of thanks and joy.

There will be times when God appears silent.

You may doubt his presence.

You may be tempted to lose hope.

But know this.

The Lord works continuously.

Your prayer never, ever fails to reach his heart.

He works for you in ways you cannot imagine.

He prepares every moment, every second, every instant of your journey.

So keep praying.

Do not give in to the darkness.

Do not lose hope.

Let the Lord amaze you with his goodness.

Let him reveal his deepest mysteries to you.

He is the Resurrection and the Life.

Do not be afraid of this journey with your Creator.

Give in to him and give it all up to him.

And with time, you will witness marvels and miracles.

Obstacles will come crashing down.

The enemy will flee from you as you grow in service and humility.

Your prayers will be answered.

And even more blessings will be heaped upon you.

So keep praying.

Wait upon the Lord.

Do not hurry.

Stay faithful, patient, and sure.

Gaze upon his loveliness.

Know God is with you —

— and you are with him —

— always and evermore at home.

. . . . . . .

One thing have I asked of the LORD,
    that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the LORD,

  1. Thank you! You’re prayers ALWAYS have a way of finding their way to me at just the time that I need to hear/read them the most.
God’s Will Be Done. Thank you again.
