Your secret place

YOUR retreat with the Lord is a sacred place, a secret place.

You close your eyes. You breathe.

You feel the Lord’s presence.

Maybe you don’t know how to pray.

Just wait then. Sometimes it’s best just to wait silently.

Eventually, the Spirit of God will call upon your soul.

The Spirit will reveal things to you no human can ever teach you.

The Holy Spirit will show you how to open your heart to the Father.

There you enter into a place of complete sincerity and security.

You can be you.

There is no judgement here, only truth.

And over the painful truths, God’s sweet mercy pours out to cleanse and heal those wounds.

And you can finally rest.

Deep rest for your weary soul.

A taste of heaven on earth.

Beware though.

This secret place will be assaulted repeatedly by the enemy.

The devil will do anything to get you off your knees.

Resist this.

Everything depends on the secret place, your intimacy with God Almighty.

What value do you place on time spent with your Creator?

Go there then to learn.

Go there to be forgiven and healed.

Go there to gain nourishment and strength.

Go there to call upon the hand of God.

Go there to find absolute freedom.

Tears will fall.

Anguish will be fully expressed as the anguish of Christ crucified cries out with and for you.

More tears will fall.

Then laugh and cry out with great joy and thanksgiving.

At the wounded feet of Jesus, worship Him in spirit and truth.

Then rise and go forth to face the day.

A new dawn.

Live life eternal now and forever.
