I am part of the Body of Christ. TREMENDOUS!

Part of him? Really?

Yes. The Word tells me.

Do I really believe this? Do I trust?

What does this mean to me?

DO I FEEL AND LIVE MY TRUE IDENTITY EVERY DAY?

I AM IN CHRIST.

Yet I forget. Is this God’s mercy at work? Because if I was fully aware of the fact that I am part of HIS BODY…

I would never stop giving thanks.

I would never, ever hurt anyone.

I would embrace the lowest of the low. I would love the most horrible sinner and go far out of my way to help those who offend me — even die for them if I could.

Never afraid or ashamed to proclaim my love for my heavenly Father —  His Word milk and honey to me — I would never get or give enough. They would have to drag me away from his presence.

And when I spoke about GOD’S LOVE …

… people would listen with wonder and awe …

… my words would never be stained by vanity or pride …

… no judgement …

… NO FEAR.

They would only hear PURE LOVE falling from my lips…

Since every word would speak of Christ.

That’s what the Body would do.

IF I WERE FULLY AWARE OF THIS

I MIGHT GO MAD

UNRELENTING SERVICE … SACRIFICIAL LOVE

I would make the fanatic preacher SHOUTING on the street corner look tame.

MY ACTIONS AND WORDS WOULD BE THE WIND AND FIRE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT PENETRATING THE HEARTS OF MEN THAT THEY MIGHT BELIEVE.

Paul said, “Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.”

So why don’t I act like it MUCH MORE? What holds me back?

Yes. I am part of His Body. SO ARE YOU.

Let us dream and aspire to let this fully manifest in our lives and souls.

AWAKEN THE BODY, OH LORD.

MAY WE  FULLY WORSHIP AND SERVE YOU.

IN CHRIST JESUS,

AMEN.
